Founder & Senior Project Manager
I started BlueSky with the sole intent of providing a way for Hawaii homeowners, small businesses, and nonprofits to explore and realize the benefits of solar in a way that is built around their interests, first and foremost. This required a model and process that;
1) Removes conflicts of interest present in traditional sales models.
2) Build design and engineering tools that provide unbiased, understandable information and to render value-centric designs for each customer’s unique needs and interests.
3) Build a well trained team and continuously refined process that removes unnecessary costs and inefficiencies.
Since 2014, BlueSky has evolved immensely in this mission, working to stay ahead of the growing complexities of solar in Hawaii. We are constantly learning, evaluating and working to improve. We look forward to the many challenges ahead and the joys of serving many more of our Hawaii neighbors, family and friends for years to come.
Josh serves as operational manager and developer of BlueSky as well as project manager on projects that require more technical consideration.
Project Manager
Andrew is BlueSky’s Project Manager, serving Hawaii Island homeowners and businesses in exploring their options, working with them to determine the solution that will suit their interests best, and supporting customers for the long term. Andrew has a genuine interest in every customer’s needs and concerns, and most customers share that working with Andrew is like working with a caring family member who also happens to be an expert in solar.
Project Coordinator
Aaron is BlueSky’s Project Coordinator, navigating every project through a complex and nuanced process of drafting, submittals, agency approvals, equipment ordering, scheduling, and validations. Aaron works diligently to keep customers informed of progress and closely collaborates with project partners to deliver a hassle free process for our customers and ensure projects are completed efficiently and professionally.
Bill’s extensive experience in the solar industry, dating back to 2012, combined with his well developed skills in drafting enable customer projects to go from concept to well crafted, buildable plan sets that are efficiently communicate necessary project details to plan reviewers, installers, and other project partners.
Sarah brings a wide range of skills and experience to the BlueSky team, working with the team on important day-to-day administration as well as long term process and resource improvements.
Our installation teams bring expertise in complex electrical work and solar-specific best practices, the foundation of every high-quality system build. We believe that true craftsmanship shows in the details; well planned designs, clean conduit runs, thoughtful layouts, and systems that look good and perform beautifully. We take pride in doing it once and doing it right, installing with precision, care, and respect for your home or business.
