Designed in collaboration with the homeowner, architect, and builder as part of a full remodel, this 44kW grid-tied system with battery backup pairs beautifully with the home’s new copper roof — delivering lasting energy resilience and over $1,000/month in savings.
After a serious failure from an older, improperly installed system from another solar contractor, we spent months working with the homeowners, utility, and county to design and integrate a highly upgraded system that was code-compliant, safe, and within the allowance of the utility to have it grandfathered into an old program the previous contractor had not properly closed out. They are now enjoying a whole-home backup system that is reliable and long-lasting, delivering peace of mind and huge savings.
This high-end project featured two integrated systems designed to optimize solar output and allow for future battery backup — all while maintaining a completely discreet visual profile. Careful array placement and a custom-built facade around the carport panels make the system invisible from ground level, and expert level electrical work ensured no visible conduit over a long, complicated run.
